All Marieke Gouda cheeses are aged a minimum of two months and are handcrafted with Wisconsin farmstead fresh, raw cow's milk using the authentic cheese making methods Marieke brought with her from the Netherlands. The variety includes Young Plain Gouda, Smoked Gouda, Foenegreek Gouda and Mustard Melange Gouda. Substitutions of another Gouda may be made if any of the Gouda varieties listed in unavailable. Young Plain Gouda - creamy, buttery and mild with slightly sweet notes. Smoked Gouda - creamy and buttery with a hint of natural Hickory smoke. Foenegreek Gouda - sweet and nutty with flavor notes reminiscent of maple syrup. Mustard Melange Gouda - creamy and earthy; flanked by both black and yellow mustard seeds.
